So we all love a good cocktail, and this recipe is great, especially for the fall and winter.
This mixture comes from Joel Ginsberg in Minneapolis, Minnesota. And we must say, it is simply a great combination of flavors.
As Joel describes..."our family loves bourbon cocktails in general and then we really got into the whiskey sour a few years ago. What we love about this drink is using maple syrup. First, it replaces the simple syrup (sugar water) with natural maple sugar and is less sweet. Second, the maple itself gives it a wonderful and rich flavor combined with the lemon juice, especially in the fall and winter. So enjoy, because our whole family sure does love it, especially around the fire."
We say...thanks Joel!...
The Ginsberg Whiskey Sour
2 shots of Bourbon Whiskey (Joel recommends Two Stars)
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) lemon juice
1 ounce maple syrup (Joel recommends Mrs. Butterworth)

1 orange peel garnish
